Strafing (moving left to right, to dodge them) is the best/only counter you have to the darts.

And how you guys keep Koris alive? He needs to be with you in the end or else the chest wont spawn.

Frostmaw's
Ok I will post the frostmaw's burrows builds I use. Since we almost got all dungeons as SF sin. Needs celerity on every floor. Very hard to learn, probably the hardest run in-game (in my honest opinion). This is not for the average Shadow Form sin, I can assure you that, I "know" only 3 people that can run it (I am one of them, dont ask for a run, retired from PvE).
Shadow Form Sin: Deadly Paradox, Shadow Form, Glyph of Lesser Energy, I Am Unstoppable!, Ebon Battle standard of honor, Sliver Armor, Shadow refuge, Stoneflesh Aura / By Ural's Hammer!.
Suggest Scythe for energy management!
Dervish Bomber (or two if you prefer): Lots of options, view page 1 for suggestions. (better choice after RoJ nerf).
UA monk: as the name sais.
Run to dungeon (easy).
Floor 1: essence up, move forward, watch for wurm pops (easilly recognisable). Sliver wurms who cause knockdown. Stoneflesh for damage reduction, heal with shadow refuge. Run to door; watch wurm pops, sliver boss (maybe boss group aswell not sure), go to 2nd floor.
Floor 2: Take right door, watch out for wurms, suggest micro with dervish hero to kill, Sliver Armor is not really that fast @ 4 creatures. run through drakes and elementals (drakes have crystal wave, watch out). Sliver Wurms boss near door, door opens, watch where the incubus go!! It's very important to do this, if you see incubus on radar near your location go the other way (there is another door on the other side, sliver Boss aswell). Move to door to third level, sliver a few mobs untill door opens.
Floor 3: Tough floor, lots of mobs, incubus. Sliver everything, watch for incubus patrols, there are a few you must kill, use heroes. Will take some time after RoJ nerf. Some patrols can be avoided.
Floor 4: Run Run Run Run till end, watch for incubus patrols, avoid them, do not get stuck (its hard I know). Sliver boss at end, go to fifth floor.
Floor 5: Most fun floor, use the snowballs to kill the Jotun in the beginning, head to boss room, sliver/scythe wurms, wait for boss to spawn. This is where the fun begins pull the boss to the room with the snowballs, let him pop under a snowball, boss dies, grab chest.
If you want to learn this build, good luck, I needed lots and lots of dp removal
If you want to run costumers, let them pay at beginning 5th floor, or at the beginning of every floor to cover the essence of celerity cost. Average price people pay is 30k, max I have had is 75k per costumer (traded my ecto's for their cash in outpost). If you are really smart you run 7 people and tell them to bring ursan blessing so you could theoretically earn 210k+, minus the cost of 5 essences every 45 minutes - 1 hour. And the end chest can drop some high end items.
Let's hope I won't get disappointed by posting this
The Son of Grenth / The Devils Cutlass.
P.s. it is actually able to duo (Player + hero) this, but I won't even mention it right now.

Because if we are talking about the same thing, I can assure you that the chest wont spawn unless koris drinks from the ales.

Than you haven't been to Doomlore much lately. I recall seeing about 10 different people advertising to run Frostmaw daily in Doomlore.
What I hate about running Frostmaw and why I don't do it anymore is people complaining they have to help kill on Level 3. They rage, w8 till we get to level 5, learn how the run is done, and leave blaming they had to help kill and not worth paying 25-30k over.
And some will NOT pay you at the start of each level and I can understand why with all these scammers on lately; scammers from runners and customers.
5K from each person x 7 = 35K
35K on 1st Level = 35K
35K on 2nd Level = 70K
35K on 3rd Level = 105K and runners goes Bye Bye and fakes a DC

Frostmaw's, in my honest opinion is an easy run for sin. Levels 1, 2, 4 are easy, levels 3 and 5 are just about the runners ability to lead people who they are running. There are many harder dungeons to run, such as Vloxen Excavations.
And yes, there are LOTS of scammers around, I rarely run dungeons any more thanks to the amount I get, one run i had 3 scammers out of 5 on a Vlox run...which equates to a 90k lose -.-

Maybe, but I only know 3
As for needing help on level 3, its not needed per se, but it speeds it up. But I dont think you should ask for help even as a "pro runner", that's why runners should run with two heroes (or even 1 if you can manage) in my opinion.

The only hard part about Vloxen is the endboss, and its probably impossible to solo as a sin, thus saying there are many harder dungeons to run, you forgot that the build I posted is an assassin build using heroes. As for the Vloxen build, the problem is easilly solved by adding another hero.

These are just opinions, and yes using heroes to kill incubi will obviously be harder then having humans, but even so, Frostmaws, imo, isn't too complicated to run as a sin. And also, imo(note the opinion again) better to use BUH! over stonefish aura, I don't see the point of it, as you can easily heal over any damage dealt to you by using Shadow Refuge.

I would have to agree on that, but if you are new to the run, I think its better to use stoneflesh, but thanks for the suggestion, I will edit it as optional!

Couldn't find much information about this on the first post and when I quickly looked trough the other posts, but today I got a run trough Rragar by a solo perma and was wondering if any guides about this excisted.
I only have little information about it.
The build:
OwZTkY/8ZiHRnBZIXkHKVMND3BA
He used everywhere essences(to keep SF up) and armor on the 1st lvl. It's possible he used cupcakes.
Tried it myself once(and failed pretty bad), but tought it might be smarter to first look for a guide...

if you spawn when your sf is recharging try to live as long as you can to make sf become recharged next time you spawn
about the ice darts part, it shouldnt be a problem
be sure you arent going the long way, you may do this if you try to go to xien
you should ignore him until the end which you will lure him near spiders and sliver to get the boss key

I sometimes run Rragars on my sin, using that build (may have even been me who ran you =P). For lvl 1 using an armor of salvation really really helps, because of the Ignite Arrows from the ranger boss will do something like 40-45 damage to you, with armor + feigned it will only do around 8-10.
On level 1, go to the ranger boss, aggro them, pull them back a bit until they are spead out somewhat, then go stand near the Charr Prophet, and try and Sliver to target him, once he is dead, stand near the ranger boss, Sliver will generally target him above all else, remember to use feigned often, try to get into a routine of cast GoLE, EBSoH, Sliver, BUH, DP, SF then feigned (casting feigned while under DP will make it recharge faster...). Kill him and all the others in the group, the door will open. Now to fight Rragar for the 1st time, use SF just before aggroing, Deaths Charge upto him, then GoLE, EBSoH, sliver, BUH, and Feigned, once he drops the key run to the lock. Getting past the oozes can cause some issues, you wouldn't have too many problems if you use rock candies, as you will break aggro quite quickly.
Level 2, this is the easiest and fastest. Run left and keep going until you get to Rragar, try to keep aggro of the melee Charr of the previous mob (they are either the assassin's or warriors, i forget which =P) Aggro his mob, lure them back just a bit, so they seperate somewhat, DC to Rragar, the sliver him, grab the key and go to the lock.
Level 3, if you're running people tell them to stay just out of aggro of the 1st mob, then you run to the Flesheaster(s), kill them, and the whole mob, try to keep aggro of the previous mob, to charge Sliver. Then run back, there is 1 mob you might want to kill on the way, so it's clear for people you're running just after the res shrine (as you're running back to the start). There are mobs still in the way for the people you're running, lure them together and to the path near the mob nearest the start so the people you're runnign can get past. Take them then way you went, but instead of going towards the necro boss(es) go right at that point, to the lock, there is 1 mob in the way, lure them away so the others can get through safely, make them pay at this last shrine, now to kill Rragar and Hidesplitter, ask the poeple who you are running to bring damage skills, Ebons Sin support and Sniper support are the best, kill Rragar first, then Hidesplitter. You're all done, now for the chest
Sorry if some parts of this don't make sense, I done it quite quickly, and my typing is bad at the best of times =)

So, if you take this approach and Sliver doesn't target Prophet....do NOT kill any other Charrs!!! or kiss your solo run good-bye.
I can hear it now..."What?!?!?!?! You want us to help you kill?!?!?!?!" just like Frostmaw.
|
That's why you seperate them, Sliver targets the warrior 1st, then just make sure the prophet is the only one in range of Sliver. The only "hard" part of this dungeon is the ranger boss, imo.
